VOLUNTEERING

Whether you have 1 hour or 100, we ALWAYS need you!! Anyone interested in volunteering at CSA should contact renee.dibiasio@clevelandmetroschools.org for a volunteer application and to learn more. Your name will be added to our volunteer email list once the volunteer registration is complete and you will then receive all communication about volunteer opportunities. All volunteers will have a background check completed as part of the process.

VISITING THE SCHOOL

We want to make sure everyone feels welcome visiting CSA. However, to keep our students safe and preserve a focus on learning, all visitors during the school day must have an appointment. We are happy to provide a building tour and/or class observations by appointment as well.

Anyone entering the building must report directly to the Main Office and show a State ID.

PARENT AND FACULTY COMMUNICATION

Cleveland School of the Arts faculty work to ensure that families remain up to date about students’ academic progress and conduct in school via email, Eschool, Jupiter Ed, Naviance, and Hero. Families also should take steps to engage with student’s education and school. Involved families are one of the highest predictors of student success!! Scheduling Meetings Meetings with school faculty, staff and administration should be scheduled in advance. We are unable to accommodate unscheduled meetings. The most effective way to schedule meetings is by directly emailing the person(s) with whom you would like to meet.

Through your active involvement in the school your student will:

  • learn how much you value your place in education
  • see how to contribute positively to a community
  • benefit from your opportunity to have a voice in school matters
  • see the importance of giving back
