In March, 2007 CSA Jazz musicians performed outside of City Hall
for an event sponsored by RX for Ohio:
A Partnership for Prescription Assistance.
They were the highlight performers of the afternoon and got a chance
to meet key note speaker and TV personality, Montel Williams.
In 2006 Friends of Cleveland School of the Arts, along with support
from Forest City Enterprises and the Whiting Turner Construction
Company, founded the Willard Hackerman Scholarship for a
deserving CSA Senior wishing to pursue a career in engineering. The
first ever recipient of the award was CSA cellist Ryan Davis,
who was awarded a full, 4 year scholarship to study at Ohio State
University. |
AUDITIONS (Grades 7th – 11th)
February 2nd & 9th - 2008
8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. & 1:00
p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC:: (String, Percussion or Wind instruments):
Please bring your instrument and music, if possible. Be prepared to play a
short piece. Piano and drums will be provided. You will also be asked to
sight read a selection.
