FCSA Successfully Matches Challenge Grant
$50,000 by December 31, 2007
The David H. and Barbara M. Jacobs Charitable Trust
FCSA is honored to announce that we were able to raise $50,000 in three weeks to receive a matching gift granted by The David H. and Barbara M. Jacobs Charitable Trust (DBJ Foundation). The money raised will support the students of Cleveland School of the Arts though Our Literacy Program.
The DBJ Foundation has also designated $60,000 to support music supply costs (including sheet music, supplies, repairs and ensemble/choir uniforms) and private lessons. Additionally, FCSA is grateful to the trustees of The Kent H. Smith Charitable Trust for their gift of $10,000, which completed FCSA’s $50,000 match pledge by DBJ Foundation.
